NOTICE OF DRAWING FOR PLACE ON BALLOT
Notice is hereby given of a drawing to determine the order in which the names of candidates are to be printed on the ballot for the election to be held on May 6, 2017 in City of Ladonia, Ladonia, Texas. The drawing will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, February 27, 2017, at 100 Center Plaza, Ladonia, Texas
The City of Ladonia election will be held on May 6, 2017 from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Ladonia City Hall, 100 Center Plaza, Ladonia, TX. Early voting period is Monday, April 24, 2017 through Tuesday, May 2, 2017 during normal business hours from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm. City Hall will be open for early voting on Thursday, April 27 and Tuesday, May 2 from 7:00 am – 7:00 pm.
The City of Ladonia has vacancies for three (3) two-year terms and one vacancy for one (1) one-year unexpired term. Two-year terms ending are currently held by Dana Cuba, Gary Nichols and Jan Cooper. One-year unexpired term was left vacant by resignation of Cheryl Seilhan.
Those running for City Council for the three (3) two-year terms are:
Jan Cooper, Gary Nichols, Lily Wolfe and Dana Cuba. Those running for the one (1) one-year unexpired term are: Aurora Hernandez, Pat Harrod, and Karen Yates.
