Fannin County has issued a Burn Ban Effective 02/26/2026 for 7 days.
According to the new Ordinance the City is also under a Burn Ban when the County Issues a Ban.

There is a Blessings Box on the square near city hall for anyone needing food assistance. You are asked to take what you need and leave the rest for others. Donations to keep box filled are appreciated. This is for human consumption only. If you would like to leave food for the Paws for Progress group you can contact them or leave them inside city hall during regular business hours and we will make sure they get them.
