3. Flu shots by Mays Home Care at City Hall Friday, October 14. Free to Medicare Part B recipients, $25 for private pay.
4. Annual North Texas Firefighters Chili Cook–off in Whitewright November 5th benefiting North Texas Volunteer Fire Departments.
IX. New Business
A. Discuss, Action, Consider health insurance alternative plans with Texas Municipal League United Healthcare with Linda Shoup, Benefit Service Specialist of TML-IEBP. Linda will make a presentation and answer questions.
B. Discuss, Action, Consider amending Code of Ordinances Appendix A Fee Schedule, Article 6.300 Water Meter Testing Fees regarding water meter testing fees that apply to customer to include the words “plus actual shipping fees to and from the testing company” at the end of the first sentence after “twenty-five dollars ($25.00)”.
C. Discuss, Action, Consider purchase sponsor page in the Fannindel High School yearbook for $45.
D. Discuss, Action, Consider Fannin County Children’s Center request for funding for the coming year in the amount of $612 ($1 per capita).
X. Old Business
A. Discuss, Action, Consider quotes for repair of Water Well #2.
B. Discuss, Action, Consider payment of hotel fees/meals, IRS per diem and mileage for any Council or Mayor approved educational seminar or class, training classes, or licensing tests for employees.
C. Discuss, Action, Consider Health Insurance quotes from Broker Michael Boland for Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna and Humana.
