A. There will be a Ribbon Cutting on Saturday April 16th at 10:00 am for the new repeater antenna installed and maintained by Rick Nelson of Crossroad Communications that serves the Police and Fire Department.
IX. New Business
A. Discuss, Action, Consider beginning the bid process for bank depository services contract.
B. Discuss, Action, Consider beginning the bid process for Electric utility providers.
C. Discuss, Action, Consider sending Shane Tarpley, water department employee, to a Basic Wastewater Class (pre- requisite for testing for Class “D” wastewater license) in Kaufman, March 22-24 at a cost of $250.
D. Discuss, Action, Consider determining which city properties are to be inspected for substandard condition and possible condemnation, and to begin procedures for condemnation and demolition of said properties, including setting a Public Hearing on condemning properties for June 6, 2011.
X. Old Business
A. Discuss results of research into truck pricing and consider authorizing the purchase of a truck or delegation of authority to make a purchase.
XI. Executive Session: Pursuant to Sec. 551.087 of the Government Code, deliberation regarding Economic Development Negotiations - CLOSED SESSION - The Council, after convening in a closed meeting to discuss and consider personnel matters, will convene into Open Session to take action, if required, on the matters considered in closed session.

A. Discussion condemnation and possible demolition of substandard buildings.
B. Discussion currently occupied substandard buildings (homes) notification and recourse.
C. Discuss estimates for demolition.

Discuss, Action, Consider scheduling the Annual City- Wide clean-up to begin Saturday April 2nd end Saturday April 9th, having two roll-off dumpsters ordered initially, one is free per our contract with Southern Disposal, another ranges in cost from $345 to $545, to be situated off of Depot Street south of the square
B. Consider appointing Virginia Russell as election judge for the May 14, 2011 City Council election.

IX. Council may or may not enter into Executive Session: Pursuant to Sec. 551.087 and Sec 551.074 of the Government Code, deliberation regarding Economic Development Negotiations and Personnel Matters.
X. If closed session was entered, Council will resume open session and may or may not take action on matters discussed in closed session.
